So I'm kinda back again with another new post. I started off this month with something more traditional and bling-oriented primarily because Diwali was around the corner, now that the festive season is over, I can start obsessing over the fact that fall has finally arrived here in Delhi!
Ever since it stared getting a little chilly, I can't stop wearing denim all along this month. If you guys have been following me on my social media, you'd definitely know how this staple has been rocking my life this month.
So this time I thought of incorporating a different aspect of denim for my next blog post!
Overalls, or dungarees as I am used to calling them, have been a fringe trend for about a year. And I mean super fringe. Some styles are over sized and some are tailored. You don't need to think twice before wearing a dungaree- as it flatters every body shape and type!
So without further adieu, lets hop on to styling them dungarees!
Look1. The Minimalist Babe
The overall effect of dungarees is casual, and especially so when paired with a tee and sneakers. That way of styling the piece is the old school way to go with. If you're the kind of person who doesn't like to experiment much with fashion but still want to look stylish, this look is just for you!
Here I basically styled my fluid fitted short overalls with a simple striped tee. Since the look itself is meant to be minimalist, I chose to tone it down with no over the top accessories.
Though, to amp it up a bit I wore my go-to white wristwatch, round reflectors and silver fish skeleton earrings.Denim and tan go so well together like they're soulmates! Therefore I added a pop of tan with a cutesy studded sling bag which is my ultimate favorite these days! I didn't want my look to be boring so instead of normal sneakers that you see, I chose to slip into my blue flat-form sneakers under knee length black socks. Trust me, this sock trick adds a lot of peppiness to a rather solid look.
With this look, I chose to keep my makeup muted with a hint of candy-pink on the lips and straight open hair that add on to the casual vibe of Look 1.

Look2. Color-Pop Metallic
Now I'll be honest with you guys, styling an ill-fitted dungaree with a basic tee and sneakers would be too boring for a quirky person like me! I much prefer the dungaree vibe when ladylike, girly and dressy elements are added into the mix, like heeled boots, refined pumps, dressy bags, statement jewelry, edgy hairdo and lipstick. To my eye that's a more fun and fab juxtaposition of elements, and new way of wearing the item.
For the second look, I am wearing this well tailored denim dungaree paired with a tee with brush strokes on it. I'm totally crushing over metallic stuff this season. I accessorized myself with a beautiful silver coin neck piece, a chunky ring, wide bangle, and silver vintage reflectors!
I wanted to try color-blocking the denim blue with the over powering tones of pink and metallic. You'll find all sorts of hot pink popping up, be it the sling bag, pumped wedges, bubblegum wristwatch, and that unforgettably sultry lip color!
The make-up is vibrantly highlighted with a dark pink lip shade. I also tied my hair in a high messy bun.
Did you notice I got a haircut? Those bangs are making me feel all things RAD!

So that is all for this post, I had a lot of fun mixing and matching all these elements for this post. Denim is forever close to my heart and it makes me extremely happy to share my style here with all of you out there.
