The Festive Bling!

Nothing can dim the light which shines from within!

Hey Guys! Its been a while I had stepped away from doing a fashion blog as I wanted to try my hand on something new- Internships and reviewing some awesome stuff. But I'm back to my schedule now and I promise to keep y'all updated with regular fashion trends.

Its that time of the year again when women would come out in all their fineness to celebrate the festival of lights with complete festive fervor. Yes, Diwali is around the corner! During this festive season, women do go crazy looking for trendy and fashionable ideas to look their best and I've got some serious festive feels for you fellas. Soon y'all are gonna go out and shop for the most adorable traditional outfits to rock this festive season. I've been planning this post for quite a long time now and finally my 'DIWALI' look is here!

So without further adieu, Lets bring on the bling!

Deepawali, is no doubt, my favorite time of the festive season.
I like to go all out with my look and enjoy every bit of dressing myself in traditional outfits!

An ethnic attire is something I don't like to experiment with, its one of those styles that never fade and are best kept simply true to their essence. For my festive look, I went the traditional old way with a grand anarkali suit. Sure we do have some great designer options in the market available with a 'modern' twist. But to my understanding- Indian festivals are best kept in a traditional old school way and embracing your true sense of style!

Here, I am wearing a long anarkali suit in orange and gold- the colors bringing out the pure, warm-festive vibes. It has gold sequin work and contemporary design mirror detailing around the waist area. Mirror work attires are all over the place this season, they are so in trend and bring an extra appeal to your look without it being too over bored. The promotion of this traditional technique by the designers is certainly a great step for promoting the traditional crafts of India.

For makeup, I chose to bring a dewy golden look with the eyes and a festive glow to the face. Highlighters play a key role to bring about an instant glow to your face. The eyebrows on fleek, a winged eyeliner with not-so-bold coral lips can make a significant difference from your daily look. This highlighted warm makeup look makes you all regal and elegant.
I left my hair open and simple because there is so much bling going around with the whole attire.

The thing I love the most about dressing up for festive season is how adding small chunks of traditional accessories can  change the entire gaze of your look! Since my look is a golden-ish warm look, I am wearing these stunning gold bangles along with long jhumkas and a statement ring in gold and pearls.

You don't really have to buy expensive designer clothes and antique jewelry to look drop dead gorgeous this diwali. You can always use your instincts, mix and match the pieces you already have and create a whole new look. OR you can always come up to this blog as I have each season's trend planned out for you guys!
