Bohemian Chic

Never Stop Exploring!

Hey Guys! So I'm back with the first post of this month and its about all things boho!
Bohemian fashion is all over the place this season, from earthy neutral tones to chunky jewelry and over the top fringe obsession, all symbolize the charisma of a boho-chic. In this blog post, I've come up with two looks that fit into the free-spirited hippie vibe that'll also provide an in-sight of the latest bohemian fashion trends.

Bohemian fashion is all about comfy and romantic combination of vintage and modern styles. Fabrics like cotton, lace, crochet with bold and beautiful patterns of floral designs or tribal prints represent gypsy/Indian motifs, work wonders if you want to carry a hippie-influenced look.

The looks that I've come up with, reflect on the modern day bohemian - carefree, yet stunningly modern!

So without further adieu, lets hop on to being a boho soul..

Look1. Breathe Life Into The Past

The bohemian fashion you visualize  is inspired by the late European 60s and 70s. So the first look is inspired from the late 70s bohemian style. The uniqueness lies in the bold floral embroidery and tan accessories!
Here, I'm wearing a white lacy crochet top that has bold tribal details on it with a neon yellow lining top to give a pop of bright color to the subtle embroidery. I teamed this up with distressed denim shorts along with a tan bucket bag and flats that add on to the rustic feel of the whole look and make it a lot more edgy and relaxed.
Since I wanted this look to be a blend between yesterday's bohemian style trends and a modern day boho-chic, I didn't accessorize this look with any junk jewelry and kept it classy and cool toned with these reflective clubmasters. The whole look is easy-breezy so I've left my hair open to provide a continuous flow.

Look2. Layer It Boho!

Boho is all about looking individual and natural. Earthy tones are best, with splashes of colors like orange, green, and blue.

Along with these earthy tones, shorts and flowy fringe tops layered under a floral statement kimono can add pizzazz to your attire. My second look is inspired by the idea of  'hippie in the woods'. Bohemian fashion doesn't have to be expensive. Here I'm wearing an old printed top which I DIY'ed myself by cutting up fringes and making it more unrefined along with the same distressed shorts in look1.
Further I layered this outfit up with this heavenly kimono, it makes you look like a work of art, really! I braided my hair to one side in a simple, loose 3-strand braid which very softly adds on to the movement of the whole look along with the fringe top and that sultry kimono!
For more rough gypsy vibes I added a studded olive jhola bag and mid-length boots. The entire look screams about bohemian spirit out loud, and with this the second look was completed .
