Blessed is she who believes! |
Hey Guys! So this month for me is going pretty well. The previous two posts have been liked so much by you all and I couldn't be more thankful for the love I'm receiving. So for the third blog post this month, I thought of taking up '
Lace' as my styling companion.
To start off with, 'lace' is a fabric delicately made by thin threads in a web-like structure. That, according to me is the real charm of this fabric as it gives a peek-a-boo gaze to the look. Lace can be used as an add-on for layering, or can be styled as the only primary component of your look. This time I have styled two contradictory looks that will define us how to
work it with lace.
So without further adieu, lets get going!
Look1. Silly Girl Next Door
There's power in looking silly and not caring what you do. The first look is focused towards relaxed, fun, girl next door feel. This girl is natural, unapologetic, and carefree- not too concerned with styling and making herself shine bright!
Here I am wearing a simple pastel green tank top with basic blue denim jeans layering it up with an adorably enchanting white lace bolero. A bolero is kind of a crop-jacket for summers. It can be quite a fashion-fix if you're big around your upper arms-
not that its a bad thing, but some of us do like to cover the areas we think are flawed in our own minds.
A girl who is comfortable with herself, even when she is not made up to the nines, is sexy! Therefore, I haven't added any accessories apart from a white wristwatch and my cat eye glasses. Finally, the look was completed with a simple pair of flats and a pastel green handbag with gold imprints
on it. The hairstyle here is spontaneous and messy.

Look2. Too Glam To Give A Damn
People will stare, make it worth their while! The second look is all about feeling fabulous. There are girls out there who believe that the world is their runway, and its true! Life is too short to follow the rules, step out of your comfort zone and explore.
Going with the glam and flirty vibe, I decided to wear this black solid top which is the primary component of lace here, with a gorgeous lace back having floral detailing and paired it with leopard printed palazzo pants to add a feminine and sultry touch.
I further accessorized this look with an elegant wrist watch having copper floral imprints on it and an exquisite silver statement neck piece that further compliments the alluring attire. To make the look more boho, I left my hair open in loose waves, added this quirky tan sling bag and completed my look with some sea green flats that add a pop of color to my rather black look.

So that was my take on how to style lace as for this season and I hope you liked it. That said, I believe that each girl has her own quirkiness and is beautiful in her own little way. Whatever you wear, however you want to be is your choice. Whether you want to be a silly girl next door or an invincibly gorgeous diva, all that matters
is what you feel inside. Confidence is the key! If you feel glamorous, you'll definitely look glamorous.
